Hickory dickory dock

A neat little idea to share a nursery rhyme interactively with puppets!

Know-how:
  1. Each child gets a finger or a hand puppet.
  2. Everyone sings the song as we all know it.
  3. Each child gets a turn perhaps coming up to the front, where the teacher/leader is holding a clock -- or else, a simple clock face is passed from one parent/child set to another. Each child takes a turn moving the short arm of the clock to the next number.
  4. The teacher/leader might hold cymbals or play a glockenspiel to signal the time on the hour.
  5. Everyone sings and everyone counts the number of chimes.
SuperSimple!
